While it is raining heavily here today, we’re not complaining, especially when we look at the cold, icy and miserable weather farther north!
After a leisurely Continental breakfast at the “clubhouse” and catching up with some more friends from the past two years here in Naples, we returned to our coach where we got a phone call from our neighbor, Gilles, who advised us that when checking on our house (and turning on the water main so he could water our plants and flush the toilets) this morning, he discovered a leak and immediately turned off the water.
We certainly are glad we turned off the main before leaving and hopeful that the initial assessment of no apparent water damage proves to be accurate. Meanwhile, we’ve lined up a plumber and hopefully the issue will be fixed tomorrow.
This afternoon, we ran some errands.
