Despite a late start and a stop at Wal-Mart, we still managed to reach our next campground in Natural Bridge, NY before noon. The trip was unremarkable. Although the farms we’d seen over the past week slowly gave way to less developed territory as we entered Adirondack State Park, we passed many expected sights … 
and one we didn’t expect, a still-operating drive-in theater. 
There were also stately old brick buildings marking the focal points of some of the small towns we passed through.
Our campsite was, again, unexpectedly beautiful campground site set among towering pines and balsam firs.
