Our drive to New Hudson, just outside Detroit, was uneventful. However, there was one water tower which caught Debbie’s eye
and we were intrigued by what seemed to be overkill in directing motorists to turn “Left”.
Arriving at our campground, the largest we’ve stayed at with more than 800 sites, we were greeted by several of our Alaska caravan friends who had already arrived, with others coming in over the ensuing several hours.
This evening, we were treated to a BBQ at Bill and Carol Irvine’s home in Livonia
in his backyard which resembled a well-designed and manicured park.
