Maarch 20, 2010 – Wind, Wind and More Wind!

Today, we’d planned a day of doing little or nothing other than perhaps take a walk on the beach.  The early morning overcast first began to break up and I even saw some sun while in town running some important errands (actually replacing our wine inventory).  By the time I got back to our RV park, the sun was gone and the sky was looking increasingly ominous.

Within the hour were holed up while the rain poured down, the thunder rumbled all around us and the wind howled.

By late afternoon, the sky had cleared but the temperature remained in the mid-50s and the northwesterly wind was still blowing steadily with gusts well over 30 MPH.

It did provide some spectacular spray on the waves as they broke just off shore.
