June 14-16 – Calgary and Petro Energy

We spent the past four days visiting with Ted and Tracy Swanton,

staying at their home.

Ted has been a dear friend and business associate in several ventures since 1999.  Today we are both board members and officers of Petro Energy Corp., a small oil and gas company headquartered in Calgary

The layover also provided me a chance to spend some time at Petro,

visit with people I haven’t see for three years, meet others who’ve come aboard since I was last in town and participate in several key meetings in person rather than via teleconference.

We also had a few items needing servicing. Ted arranged for an appointment for his RV dealer, Field of Dreams

to work on our bathroom sink faucet and the alignment of our awning.  The service was great and I would enthusiastically recommend anyone needing service in the Calgary area to call them.

After a couple of days with reasonably nice weather, the rains started on Wednesday afternoon and persisted through Friday morning when we headed out to Banff and the Canadian Rockies.

I am an original investor in Petro Energy (Petrolight Resources). I am sure that this company has ceased operations but cannot locate details from David Philps or Ted Swanson. Any information on the current status would be of great assistance. Thank you.
