The past week has been reasonably uneventful … other than a lot of our friends reluctantly beginning to head north (anywhere from Georgia and Tennessee to Ontario)! Given the weather reports we’ve been following, we’re certainly glad we’ll be hunkered down here in Naples until the end of the month.
We did take one “road” trip to Shark River Valley in the heart of the Everglades.
There we took a seven mile level (no hills around here) bike ride along the Shark River
Which a Crow Prizes as a Tasty Lunch
AND … OF COURSE SCORES OF Some up to more than 10’ in length!
Meantime, I have finally pushed my golf scores below 100 for the first time in several decades and just this week have taken up Pickle Ball … although I am sore all over from using muscles I’d forgotten I even had!
Two performers put on a Johnny and June Carter Cash show last weekend.
However, while our motorcoach resort’s generally busy program of scheduled events is beginning to taper off, we still find ourselves as busy as ever with so many new and old friends here in Naples!
