Leaving Chris’, we spied some wildlife
After arriving in Bradenton and getting settled in, we drove the 13 miles to see Ken and Cheryl Grenier, our closest friends for the past 47½ years whom we met enroute to our honeymoon in Bermuda … and with whom we tried to consume most of the alcohol on the island during our one week stays.
Cheryl prepared a great spaghetti dinner and we enjoyed a great, laugh-filled evening, made even more so as Doug and Penny Frank (the six of us took a great, fun-filled overnight trip to Key West via a ferry from Fort Myers last year).
Thursday, Ken, Doug and I played golf. By the time we finished the 18th hole, it was clear that I am better with a camera than a golf club!
