January 22-23, 2014 – Ken and Cheri Grenier

Leaving Chris’, we spied some wildlife

Fox (a), Chris Newbert's Driveway, Reddick, FL - 2104-01-22and not so wildlife!

Donkey's, Reddick, FL - 2104-01-22After arriving in Bradenton and getting settled in, we drove the 13 miles to see Ken and Cheryl Grenier, our closest friends for the past 47½ years whom we met enroute to our honeymoon in Bermuda … and with whom we tried to consume most of the alcohol on the island during our one week stays.

Cheryl prepared a great spaghetti dinner and we enjoyed a great, laugh-filled evening, made even more so as Doug and Penny Frank (the six of us took a great, fun-filled overnight trip to Key West via a ferry from Fort Myers last year).

Thursday, Ken, Doug and I played golf.  By the time we finished the 18th hole, it was clear that I am better with a camera than a golf club!
