This morning, we got together with Rod and Jane Johnson,
friends from Yardley, who are visiting their daughter, Kristi, and her son, just a few miles from our campground in Apache Junction. We decided on brunch at
Originally, a 1928 Sears Craftsman house, it has been converted into a catering business and now a restaurant. The meal was excellent … and there was one sign over teh kitchen door we loved.
- On the way home, we took a brief walking tour of Old Gilbert.

50,000 gallon town water tank which sits on a 100’ tower. The project involved the sinking of a 16-inch well over 475 deep. It was constructed in 1925 and first painted in 1928
