 before reaching

Soon after arriving at our campground in the Shenandoah Valley, we tuned into the Weather Channel … to check on the predicted impact of the two winter storms, “Cleon” and “Dion”, along our intended route of travel over the next 2-3 days.  For the moment, it appears we’ll have just rain tomorrow, but Sunday is looking problematic with the possibility of sleet and freezing rain in southwestern Virginia and eastern Tennessee … in which event, we’ll sit tight and off the roads!
